Accommodation in the Mainland Inlets
The mainland inlets east of the Discovery Islands are some of the most dramatic scenery found anywhere in the world and one of BC's best kept secrets. The scale of the fjords and mounjtains that rise straight out of the see to over 3,000m (10,000ft) is of a scale usually found in Alaska or Norway. But what sets these great fjords apart is that they are true wilderness, more so than Norway and even Alaska. There are few visitors lucky enough to see these places and onlky a handful of hardy locals that call this rugged landscape home.
Yet tucked away in a few select coves and bays are comfortable lodges that accommodate visitors for the incredible scenery and recreation possibilities.
