Arts and Culture in the Discovery Islands

For small communities we do keep ourselves well entertained and all year round there is an ongoing calendar of fun, informative and entertaining events throughout the Discovery Islands.

Local cultural committees bring world-class acts to island stages; a thriving theatre group graces the footlights with a steady stream of classic plays and home-grown talent.

The Discovery Islands are home to an eclectic and very talented community of artists in a wide variety of media. Annual studio tours welcome one and all to see the artists work. On Cortes Island it's the Creative Spaces Tour while on Quadra it's the annual Studio Tour.
